Whatever rule of honor prevents Pokemon from attacking trainers in the other games is right out the window here. Pokemon also have a different role to play in Legends. You aren’t filling out a Pokedex you are helping create the first one. We aren’t trying to become a Pokemon champion, shuffling through the tall grass between towns trying to catch the Pokemon we need to defeat the next gym leader. We’re not in an expy of the modern world. You’ve simply got to catch them all, right? And yet so much is different here.
